Skiing Areas Around Merano

4x skiing areas for beginners & pros

Within 10 minutes drive of the hotel you can reach the Merano 2000 skiing area. The Schwemmalm is 20 minutes drive away, Pfelders 40 minutes and the Schnalstal around 45 minutes away.

Schwemmalm:

Not only is the Schwemmalm a paradise for snowboarding enthusiasts, but skiing fans will also find the perfect slopes.

4 easy and 6 medium difficulty level slopes are waiting. 6 ski lifts take you up to the 2,600m high skiing region. Here you will find sunny and treeless slopes.

Children's skiing Pfelders:

On the Pfelders you will find something for all the family. A ski school makes sure that you make the most of your skiing holiday, and a drag lift, a modern "Combi-Bahn" ski lift and a 6 seater chairlift can take you up to the 2,300m mountain summit.

A special highlight is flood-lit night skiing available on Thursdays.

Schnalstal:

The Schnalstal Glacier is our all-year skiing area.
At an altitude of 3,200m, with incomparable views you can enjoy 35 km of perfectly prepared slopes.

Aside from the clear mountain air, the Schnalstal cable car takes you up to the glacier, where snow is guaranteed until May. All you could want is available here - from easy to difficult slopes.

Merano 2000:

On the 40 kilometres of pistes both beginners and pro skiers quickly feel at home. The slopes vary in difficulty from easy to moderately difficult. Those who enjoy a challenge have the opportunity to show off their skills on the short black slopes.

Besides skiing and snowboarding, there is also plenty of fun to be had by tobogganers. You will have great fun on the specially built toboggan run. The lift brings all snow fans gently "to the top".

With its altitude of 1,670 to 2,300 metres, the Merano 2000 skiing area offers snow-fun from December until March. Quaint lodges and a free shuttle bus are sure to make your winter holiday one to remember.
