Tradition & modernity on holiday

in Merano / Maia alta in South Tyrol

Merano worth seeing - a small town on a grand scale

A voyage of discovery through a small town with a delightful flair- beyond the hustle and bustle of big cities, yet lively and buoyant.

People laugh in the streets. Here people chat happily in Italian, there they joke in South Tyrolean. The best of both is combined during your holiday in Merano - serenity with a sense of enjoyment, hospitality with warmth. Fascinating architecture, historic, epochal and also modern; numerous cultural events and a whole lot of upbeat atmosphere in the relaxed, historic little streets and alleys. Sights and exciting adventures entice visitors all year round.
